Career description

Michelle was born on the 21st of October, 1992 in Sittard, the Netherlands. In 2011 she started her BSc in biomedical sciences at Maastricht University. After finishing her BSc she continued with the master program Health Food Innovation Management at Maastricht University. At the final stage of her MSc she did her master internship with the M3-research unit in collaboration with the MUMC+ hospital (Dietetics department and department of Orthopaedic surgery) and Daily Fresh Food. During her internship, she focussed on nutrition during hospitalization. After finishing her studies, Michelle started working as a PhD-student with the M3- research unit (department of Human Biology, Maastricht University) where her research focus will be on clinical nutrition.
